However, the two English clubs appeared to be difficult to persuade Goetze because the player admitted he was more interested in playing in La Liga.
"It would be a dream to play for Barcelona," said Goetze told Bild quoted Mirror Football.
"I'm more interested in playing in Spain than in the Premier League. I do not know how serious and real requests for this but I'm not busy with the possibility of moving. But of course, there are some attractive offer," added the German international player.
