Hamburg appearance this season was not exactly impressive. However, how Fink - who signed on last October 2011 - bringing the club away from relegation zone has brought a sense of self respect in Beckenbauer.
Fink, called Beckenbauer, a figure worthy successor to Jupp Heynckes who in May will be 67 years old.
"Jupp Heynckes will be 67 years old, but he did not have the gene as Giovanni Trapattoni is already 72 years old, but still able to train the Republic of Ireland national team," Beckenbauer said as reported by AFP.
