Lately, Berbatov crowded associated with Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. Following the report mentions that the Bulgarian striker was seen flying to Germany earlier this week.
Leverkusen, Berbatov reinforced in the period 2001 to 2006 had claimed there was contact with former players. However, Berbatov is not desired by Leverkusen.
"I've read take Dimitar (Berbatov) flew to Frankfurt and we will meet him to negotiate the transfer. That was exciting news for me," said Leverkusen boss, Wolfgang Holzhauser told Express.
"I really would never say never, but this is not something we were looking for at this time. And from my view at this time, I also will say we did not pursue in the summer," he stated.
Apart from Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, Berbatov is also reportedly interested by two Russian club, CSKA Moscow and Anzhi Makhackhala. However, the 30-year-old striker agent indicated his client would not be leaving Old Trafford.
"I usually do not comment on speculation from the media. They can say what they want," said Danchev told Sovetski Sport.
"But one thing I can say is the current that may occur from Berbatov's transfer to another club is not in the plan," he asserted.
